Set in the city of Walnut Creek, California, the game is based on the lives of several different married couples, engaged couples, and divorced couples as they struggle and survive marital bliss. Each comes from a different background, suffering from different trials and tribulations in the process of becoming one with their partner. While some are freshly married and starting off, others have been married for several years, and some have already divorced. Some couples are facing their second or third marriage while others are adding kids to the mix. The main focus through out all this is the growth and the steps it takes for these couples to open up to one another. From sharing closet space to taking the time out to talk about their day with one another. It is the little things that help keep a marriage successful. Will these marriages last? Only time will tell.

All couples are to live in the same house (except for divorced couples). We do ask that you keep this realistic on some level. Incest is illegal, pregnancies do take nine months, and same sex marriages are legal in this community. Polygamy is illegal within the united states; That being said, we will allow it to some degree provided the reasoning behind it makes sense. If religious polygamy, you must be a members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Latter-day Church of Christ, or the Apostolic United Brethren. More so only one marriage can be a legal marriage, the rest must be ceremonial and idea - not legal marriages. If not researched and displayed in a mature nature, we will not accept the polygamist marriage. Aliens, demons, faux celebs, and all supernatural activities are not allowed. We would like to keep a basis of reality within the community. PBs are to reflect the age they are (meaning if you PB Harrison Ford, icons of him at 20 will not allow you to play him twenty.)

~ The community/private storyline group will only accept married couples, divorced couples, and engaged couples. You must have your married/engaged/divorced couple set up before applying together.

~ Be active. Post aim/threads in the main community. Update your journal with a quirky thought or a long thought out entry. Try to be a comment whore, to be on often, and pimp the community. You have 3 weeks to update. Hiatus can be given when necessary.

~ Despite what the California Government ruled on gay marriage, in this community it is legal and we are for it. So yes, all gay couples are LEGALLY MARRIED here in this community. Anyone with a problem with that, don't bother applying. We don't want your type.

~ Clear your storyline with one another, don't start IC/OOC issues, don't gang your characters up on one another, etc.

~ There is NO limit to how many characters you can make provided you are active, mature, and creative with your characters. As long as each character is different from the next, have as many as you like.

~ Be descriptive. Try to create story lines with other characters, either through commenting, Threads, or AIM. Keep in mind these people have friends, co-workers, exs, family, and so on and so forth.

~ Have a first entry up before applying. Biography, several facts, a regular entry, survey, etc. Whatever works for you, just give us an idea of who your character is.
